Throughout the years, the Duleep Trophy has also featured players from outside, including West Indies & Sri Lanka. Every club in the 1962–1963 season had the chance to bolster their bowling skills with a West Indies player, except for the Central Zone.

Sri Lanka's 2006–07 season A squad that featured players like Chamara Silva competed in the competition and placed second after losing the championship match by an 8-wicket margin. Mumbai (Bombay) has won the event 41 times, including 15 consecutive victories from 1958–1959 to 1972–1973.

Up to 2001, the teams were divided into the North, West, East, South, and Central zones. In preparation for the 1952–53 season, the center zone was added. Before the 2002–03 season, a two–division structure with the Elite Group, as well as the Plate Group, took the place of the zonal system. Irani Cup

The inaugural match between the Ranji Trophy winners and the Rest of India took place in 1959–1960. The trophy was named in honor of Rafael Irani, a devoted cricket fan and longtime treasurer as well as president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India. It was played around the end of the season for the first several years. Recognizing the significance of the fixture, the BCCI relocated it to the start of the season, where it was traditionally held to mark the commencement of the new domestic season from 1965–1966 until 2012–2013.

It was changed in 2013 to a time immediately following the Ranji Trophy final, which resulted in two Irani Cup games in the 2012–13 season. History & Structure

Duleep Trophy

India's domestic cricket competition is known as the Duleep Trophy and was established in memory of Kumar Shri Duleepsinghji. The competition is held among India's many geographical regions. The competition was introduced in 1961–1962, by the BCCI. Indian-born Kumar Duleepsinghji Jadeja performed for England from 1905 until 1959. He was born in Gujarat. He participated in test matches plus first-class games in England as a right-handed batter and right-armed leg-break bowler. The BCCI decided to launch this competition in India in his honor after the famous batsman passed away in 1959.

Vijay Hazare Trophy

Since the Vijay Hazare Trophy's founding in the 2002–2003 season, it has been played in 16 seasons and featured 27 teams divided into five regional groups: East Zone, South Zone, Central Zone, North Zone, and West Zone. Each group had five to six teams, and each squad competed against every other team in the group once per league system. The five group leaders and three extra runners-up moved on to the round-robin quarterfinal round, where they would compete until the deciding game.

The competition's format altered during the previous 2017–2018 season, and the BCCI decided that it currently includes 38 teams divided into three elite groups and one plate group. Based on the points average over the previous three seasons, the first comprises 9 to 10 teams, while the second contains the remaining nine teams. Each group's champion and runner-up move on to a round-robin tournament to decide the winner. With the addition of extra games to the tournament, betting on this cricket tournament became more entertaining for sports fans and much more packed in terms of the quantity and quality of games.

Deodhar Trophy

The Deodhar Trophy is a relatively brief competition that consists of only four matches. These matches are played as 50-over knockout competitions (often known as one-day cricket), which is essentially a shortened version of the game designed to be completed in a single day. compared to a traditional cricket match, which can occasionally go up to five days. As a result, this is not the most important event for cricket betting, but certain businesses have special deals, so you can still gain a lot from it.

The first version of the competition, which ran from the 1937–1974 season until the 2014–2015 season, consisted of a first session in which 2 zonal teams competed against one another in the quarterfinal stage. The winner then advanced along with the other two remaining zonal teams to the semifinal stage. The four remaining cricket teams competed in the second round, which served as a knockout stage.

Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy

The Inter-State T20 Championship was the original name of the BCCI's main domestic T-20 event, which was changed and reintroduced as the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. It consisted of 27 Ranji teams divided into five Zones. In the first SMAT Trophy, Rohit Sharma recorded the first T20 century by an Indian while chasing a total of 140+ vs Gujarat. He did it for Mumbai in the very next game after scoring 40+ not out in the previous game.

Each Zone's champion and runner-up advance to the elimination round. The knockout phase was replaced by a Super League in the 2012–13 season, where the champions and runners-up from each Zone are divided into 2 groups and also the winner advances to the final. The BCCI stated in June 2016 that a zonal-based tournament will take the place of the championship. The BCCI returned to including all domestic teams the very next season.

Ranji Trophy

The Ranji Trophy is named for Ranjitsinhji, the first cricketer from India to represent his country internationally. He represented Sussex in county play and played first-class cricket for Cambridge University in England. Above all, he was a well-known test cricketer who represented England and is regarded as one of the greatest batters in history. The competition's trophy, which was established in 1934, was given by Ranjitsinhji personally. The Bombay (now Mumbai) squad won the championship. It had since won the trophy 41 times, with 15 straight victories from the end of the 1950s to the beginning of the 1970s. Mumbai is undoubtedly the side with the most victories in the competition and among the best in the Indian cricket league.

Irani Cup

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Ranji Trophy, the Irani Cup, or Irani Trophy as it was formerly known, made its first appearance during the 1959–1960 season. It bears the name of Z. R. Irani, a BCCI associate, and former treasurer. The cup, which is just one first-class cricket game, has grown in popularity over the years among followers of cricket betting.

Once played at the start of each cricket season, the cup served as the backdrop for Indian cricket betting. Very recently, during the 2012–2013 season, was the cup moved to the season's conclusion, immediately following the Ranji Trophy itself. Due to this season's circumstances, two Irani Cup matches were played concurrently. As it is located near the season's conclusion. The Irani Cup was rumored to be ending as part of the domestic Indian cricket season in 2018, but it ultimately continued as a substantial component of the final calendar, meaning betting on the competition remains.

Indian Premier League

The debut season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which was founded in 2007, took place in 2008-2009. It was established as an immediate response to the establishment of the Indian Cricket League, a competitive undertaking (ICL). The BCCI and other international cricket associations (as well as online cricket betting franchises and brands) refused to accept the newly founded franchise, therefore it was decided to create a new Twenty20 super league with teams from all around India.
